Who Qualifies For Your Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.
Applications at the moment are open and may shut on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should satisfy the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house by using a combined gross home income that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined family cash flow doesn't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and wish not submit any proof of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South check here African citizens and permanent residents from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the nsfas status proper Identification Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected in their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are studying or plan to study nsfas 2025 at a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
